Site improvements

Posted by Joey Day

Got your hard hat on? We’ve overhauled a few sections of the site, moved the blog here to the front page and removed the support forum no one was using.

I’ve been working on a new My Account system for the past week or so and I’m really excited for it to go live. So far you can log in and see a recent transaction history, but soon you’ll be able to get more of your history and make dues payments.

If you happen to have a support issue, please don’t hesitate to use our contact form. Farther down the road I plan to build a rudimentary ticket system into the works, so stay tuned for more development.

I maintain the http://www.blackoak.com web site. When will the server be back up? Posting says 9/22 but as of 9/25 I still cannot gain access. Have any access requirements changed?

Tom, I’m not sure what’s going on. I can load blackoak.com just fine from where I’m at, but it’s entirely possible the new IP address hasn’t propagated through DNS to your part of the globe. One thing to try is flushing your DNS cache. To do so, run the following from a command prompt:

    ipconfig /flushdns

I’ve also sent you an email with this same instruction. Let me know if this clears up the issue or if further troubleshooting is required. Thanks.
